Munich, 03 May 2016 - At the Annual General Meeting of Linde AG held today, Professor Wolfgang Reitzle was elected to the Supervisory Board as a shareholder representative. He will take up his position on the Supervisory Board with effect from 21 May 2016 on the expiry of the statutory two-year cooling-off period. Reitzle was Chief Executive Officer of Linde AG until 20 May 2014.
Following the Annual General Meeting, the members of the Supervisory Board elected Professor Wolfgang Reitzle as its new Chairman with effect from 21 May 2016.
Dr Manfred Schneider resigned from the Supervisory Board and from his position as Chairman of the Supervisory Board as planned with effect from 20 May 2016 and will cease to be a member of the Supervisory Board from that date. He has sat on the Supervisory Board since May 2001 and has been its Chairman since May 2003.
Dr Victoria Ossadnik, who was appointed by court in January 2016 to the Supervisory Board of Linde AG, was elected to the Supervisory Board as a shareholder representative at the Annual General Meeting.
