The Linde Group and Elliott Group signed a cooperation agreement for the main refrigerant cycle compression section of LNG plants
Degree of standardisation and modularisation of Linde’s StarLNGTM plants further enhanced
Speed to the market significantly increased
Jeannette, Pennsylvania, USA / Munich, Germany, 7 March 2016 –– Elliott Group and The Linde Group’s Engineering Division have entered into an agreement to cooperate in the small- to mid-scale LNG business. The parties have developed a highly standardised and modularised concept for the main refrigerant cycle compression section of Linde’s StarLNGTM plants ranging from 0.2 MMTPA to 1.3 MMTPA. The agreement enables Linde Engineering to significantly increase the speed to the market.
Marcus Lang, Executive Vice President of Product Line LNG and Natural Gas Processing at The Linde Group’s Engineering Division stated, “with this initiative we have further enhanced the degree of standardisation of our StarLNGTM family which allows us to combine best-in-class quality with competitive pricing and attractive delivery times.”
